Lee Ann Gray is a veteran of the United States Army, a full-time student at Columbia Southern University, and has a degree in Early Childhood Education. As a parent, soldier, and teacher, she understands the everyday struggles of balancing several roles at work and at home. Lee Ann lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter, while her son lives in Georgia with his father. This is Lee Ann’s first book (hopefully the first of many!) and was inspired by the resilience that her five-year-old daughter, Khloe, showed during her transition to Kindergarten while being a child of military parents. In her spare time, when not involved in her daily family activities, Lee Ann volunteers in her community and is a substitute teacher with the Frederick County school district.
